Preparation Method :
- Place the prawns in a large bowl. Coat them with the ginger paste and set aside for about 15-20 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a heavy-based pan and fry the marinated prawns for about 2-3 minutes on both sides. Take care not to overcook the prawns.
- Serve with wedges of lemon as a starter.
INGREDIENTS
- 550 grams raw king prawns, peeled, de-veined and pat dried
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- Salt, to taste
- 4 lemon wedges, to serve
Ground Spices - Ginger Paste
- 2 inch piece of ginger, roughly chopped
- 2-3 green chillies, deseeded and chopped
- 4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
