Preparation Method :
- Marinate the fish cubes with turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt to taste. Set aside.
- Add onions and saute till transparent. Stir in red chilli powder, sugar, garam masala, coriander powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes, sour cream and green chillies. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
- Add the fried fish cubes to the sauce and coat evenly. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
- Serve hot, accompanied by any Indian bread.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg Fish fillets , deboned, cubed
- 400 grams Tomatoes, blanched, deseeded, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 50 ml cooking oil
- 2 Onions (medium), sliced
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 2 tablespoon Sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 4 Green chillies, slit in half, deseeded
- Salt to taste
