TUNA ROUNDS WITH TOMATILLO GUACAMOLE

10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Bring tuna to room temperature. Season with salt and pepper, in a frying pan, heat olive oil over high heat until smoking.
  • Add tuna and sear on all sides until browned, about 6 minutes. Remove from pan and let rest.
  • For Guacamole: Rinse, husk, and finely chop tomatillos. Peel, stone, and mash avocados and stir in tomatillos and shallot. Season with salt, pepper, and lime juice.
  • Slice tuna loin to desired thickness, top with a spoonful of guacamole, and serve. 

INGREDIENTS

Guacamole

  • 4 tomatillos
  • 4 avocados
  • 4 teaspoon finely chopped shallot
  • 2 Tablespoon lime juice
