DRY SPICED FISH

20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Add the fish with the lemon juice to the bowl and coat well with the marinade. Cover and leave to marinate at least for an hour in the fridge.
  • Dust each piece of fish with flour and shake off any excess. Shallow fry for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through.
  • Serve with lemon wedges.

INGREDIENTS

  • Flour, for dusting,
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil, for shallow frying
  • 750 grams salmon fillets, skinned and cut into pieces, Drizzle with the lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Ground - Marinade

  • 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
