HALIBUT WITH TARRAGON

Halibut with Tarragon is wonderfully known as a delectable dish! It is because while you prepare and cook for this dish, you also expect that it would taste so good! Don’t fret on other recipes which don’t really taste good because Halibut with Tarragon is mainly served with cold steaks or halibut!
Serves :

3 hours

Cooking Time :
1 hour

Preparation Method :

  • Place the halibut in a large shallow dish. Sprinkle over the lemon rind and juice, tarragon leaves, salt and pepper. Turn the fish to coat with the lemon and herb mixture.
  • Cover and leave to marinate for about 3 hours.
  • Place each piece of fish oil a sheet of foil large enough to enclose it. Spoon over a little of the marinade and wrap up the fish.
  • Cook in a preheated moderately hot oven for about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the halibut.
  • Unwrap and serve on a heated dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams halibut or cod steaks 
  • Grated rind and juice of 4 lemons 
  • Few tarragon sprigs
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
