Preparation Method :
- Marinate the fish in yogurt and salt for about an hour, turn twice.
- Heat little oil in a pan, add 1 onion and fry until crisp. Blend it with the remaining onion, the ginger, green chillies and garlic to a smooth paste.
- Heat the remaining oil in a large frying pan with a lid. Fry the fenugreek seeds for about 20-30 seconds.
- Add the prepared paste and fry until it starts to brown. Now add the fish and yogurt. Stir carefully and spoon the mixture over the fish.
- Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes or until cooked through, add little water if needed.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with coriander sprigs.

- 1 kg cod steaks
- 150 grams natural yogurt
- 150 grams onions, finely sliced
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 1 inch piece fresh root ginger, thinly sliced
- 4-6 green chillies
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- Salt, to taste
- Sprigs of fresh coriander, to garnish
