- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions lightly. Add the ground masala paste. Fry well.
- Add measured water with salt, vinegar and bring to a boil. Then add the fish pieces, simmer till done. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 kg Cod fish, cleaned, cut into pieces, rinsed and drained
- 350 ml water
- 150 grams Onion, chopped
- Vinegar to taste
- Salt to taste
Grind to a fine paste
- 50 grams onions
- 1 teaspoon roasted Cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon roasted Mustard seeds
- 15-20 Dry red chillies
- ½ " piece Turmeric
- 10-12 roasted Peppercorns
- 4-6 cloves Garlic
