FISH FILLETS FLAVORED WITH MUSTARD

Preparation Method :

  • Mix together the mustard paste, red chilies, salt, tomato paste and lemon juice. Marinate the fish fillets in this mixture for 1-2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan, saute onions and garlic until transparent.
  • Gently place the fillets in the pan and cook, turning frequently, so that both the sides are evenly browned.
  • Pour the remaining marinade along with half a cup of water over the fillets.
  • Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove and serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander and accompanied by any Indian bread of choice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams Fish fillets
  • 2 teaspoon Red chilies, crushed  
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard paste
  • 5 teaspoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 6 Garlic cloves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoon Cooking Oil
