Preparation Method :
- Rub salt and lemon juice over the fish pieces and keep aside for at least 1-2 hours.
- Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl except the chaat masala and oil.
- Dip the fish pieces in the batter and allow them to stand for another half an hour.
- Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan and deep fry the fish pieces over medium heat.
- Sprinkle the fish with chaat masala and serve, accompanied by sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and lemon wedges.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg Fish, cut into thin slices
- Salt to taste
- 5 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon Carom seeds
- 2 teaspoon White pepper powder
- 2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 120 grams Gram flour
- 120 grams Garlic-ginger paste
- 50 ml White vinegar
- 500 ml Cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
