SESAME PRAWN

Preparation Method :

  • Rub lemon juice onto the dried prawns and set aside. Coarsely grind sesame seeds.
  • Mix the coarsely ground sesame seeds with 1 teaspoon oil and the rest of the ingredients to form a marinade. Coat the prawns with this marinade, cover the dish and put aside for 20 - 30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan till it starts smoking. Reduce fire to medium. Coat prawns evenly with the remaining sesame seeds and deep fry till they are crisp and golden brown.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot, accompanied by chilli sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika  
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame seeds  
  • 220 ml IDHAYAM sesame Oil  
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 10 King prawns, Wash, clean and devein prawns 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Green coriander, chopped
