QUICK-FRIED SQUID WITH CRAB AND TOMATO SAUCE

This recipe is highly made of nutritional ingredients such as vegetable oil, squid, tomato, chicken stock, onion, and ginger. This dish is perfect to include in your diet plan since it is made of healthy ingredients.

45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the squid into 1 inch pieces.
  • Heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan, add the ginger and spring onions and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the squid and cook for 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, except the corn flour, and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring.
  • Blend the corn flour to a smooth paste with 1 tablespoon water. Stir into the pan and cook, stirring, until thickened.
  • Spoon into a warmed serving dish, garnish with spring onion.
  • Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg cleaned squid, fresh or frozen and thawed
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 inch piece root ginger, finely chopped
  • 6 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 250 grams crab meat 
  • 150 grams tomato puree
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce 
  • 8 tablespoons chicken stock 
  • 2 tablespoon dry sherry 
  • 4 teaspoons corn flour 
  • Chopped spring onion, to garnish
