PRAWN ROLLS

Preparation Method :
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a heavy bottomed pan and add the onion and ground masala paste. Fry till the oil separates.
- Add the prawns, vinegar, garam masala powder, salt and coriander leaves. Fry at least for 3 minutes or until well blended. Remove from heat and leave aside to cool.
- Sieve the flour with chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Add ghee and knead to a thick and stiff dough using little water.
- Divide the dough and the filling into 6 equal portions.
- Roll each dough portion into a thin sheet, fill with a portion of the prawn mixture. Roll it lightly and press each end of the roll firmly.
- Deep fry each roll separately in hot oil. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
INGREDIENTS
- 350 grams Prawns, shelled, cleaned, boiled and chopped into small bits
- 250 grams Flour
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoon Ghee
- 2 teaspoon Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil as required
- 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves, chopped
Grind to a fine paste
- 4-6 Green chillies
- ½ " piece Ginger
- 6 cloves Garlic
