MASALA FRIED FISH

Preparation Method :

  • Heat a tablespoon of oil and shallow-fry the fish pieces till golden on both sides. Remove from heat, drain well and keep aside.
  • Reheat the oil and fry the onions, garlic, ground masala paste and salt for about a minute.
  • Add the beaten curd and bring to a boil. Add the fish pieces and cook covered for about 2 minutes or until the fish turns tender.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Fish, cleaned, sliced and rinsed
  • 150 grams Onions, thinly sliced
  • 4-6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 75 grams Tomato sauce
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • 150 grams Curd, beaten

Grind to a fine paste    

  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves    
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds, roasted    
  • 50 grams Coconut, grated    
  • 6 Green chillies
