RICH SHRIMP CURRY WITH COCONUT

Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and fry the onions till golden brown. Add the chilli paste with the powdered spices, salt and fry for a few minutes.
- Add the shrimps and fry for one minute more. Add the coconut milk, simmer on a low flame till the shrimps are cooked. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams Fresh shrimps, shelled and cleaned
- 200 ml Thick coconut milk
- 100 ml Cooking oil
- 150 grams Onions, minced
- 1 tablespoon Curry powder
- 8-10 Green chillies, ground to a paste
- 1 teaspoon Chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
