Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the onions, garlic and green pepper and fry until the onion turn soft but not brown.
- Add in the tomatoes and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the curry powder, chilli powder and flour and cook gently for about 2 minutes.
- Gradually add the hot water, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to the boil.
- Simmer to low flame, then add the white fish pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cooked mussels and prawns to the pan, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for a further 5-7 minutes. Garnish with strips of chilli and serve with steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams white fish fillets, skinned and cubed
- 150 grams cooked shelled mussels
- 500 ml hot water
- 150 grams cooked peeled prawns
- 150 grams onions, finely chopped
- 250 grams tomatoes, skinned, quartered and deseeded
- 1 green pepper, cored, deseeded and sliced
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2-3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 1 tablespoon chilli powder
- 30 grams plain flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Red chillies cut into thin strips, to garnish
- Steamed rice, to serve
