Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion till golden brown. Add the ground masala paste and fry till the oil separates.
- Add the tomato puree and blend thoroughly. Add the fish pieces and add water if desired, cook till done. Add the potatoes, cook for few more minutes.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams fish slices, cleaned and rinsed
- 4 Tomatoes, pureed
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 3 Potatoes, boiled, peeled and chopped
- 45 ml IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
- Salt to taste
Grind to a fine paste
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds, roasted
- 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds, roasted
- 10 - 12 Green chillies
- ½ " piece Ginger
- 4-6 cloves Garlic
- Small ball Tamarind
- 1" piece Cinnamon, roasted
- 2-3 Cloves, roasted
