Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onions, ginger, green chillies and fry till the onions are translucent.
- Add the ground coconut paste. Fry for about 3-5 minutes. Add the coconut milk, lemon rind, salt and the fish pieces. Cook till the fish is tender and gravy thickens.
- Add vinegar, simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot with steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams fish (cleaned, washed and cut into 5 cm pieces and washed again)
- 250 ml Thick coconut milk
- 400 ml Thin coconut milk
- 250 grams onions sliced
- 50 grams Coconut paste
- 2 tablespoon Vinegar
- 2 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- ½ " piece ginger finely chopped
- 6 green chillies finely chopped
- Pinch of grated Lemon rind
- Few strands Saffron
- Salt to taste
