Preparation Method :
- Marinate the fish pieces with salt for about an hour. Drain and fry till golden on all sides. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
- In the same oil, fry the ground masala paste for about a minute or two.
- Add the fish, cinnamon, salt and fry for one more minute. Simmer on a low flame for a few minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook till the gravy thickens and serve with rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams Fish, cleaned, cut into pieces, rinsed and dried
- 100 ml Vinegar
- 100 ml cooking oil
- 6 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1" piece Cinnamon broken into bits
- ¾ teaspoon Garam masla powder
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- Salt to taste
Grind to a fine paste with little vinegar
- ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 250 grams Onions finely chopped
- 5-6 Red chillies chopped
- 1" piece Ginger
- 6 cloves Garlic
