Preparation Method :
- Marinate the fish with salt for about half an hour. Heat the oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds. When it splutters add garlic and onions. Fry till transparent.
- Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil. Add curry leaves and the fish pieces. Simmer till the fish is tender. Sprinkle seasoning and lemon juice.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams Fish fillets, cleaned and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 6 cloves Garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 220 grams onions, thinly sliced
- Few Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
Coconut Mixture
- 250 ml Thick coconut milk
- 2 teaspoon Green chillies ground to a paste
- ¾ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Rice powdered
- Salt to taste
