Preparation Method :
- Mix in all the minced ingredients, egg, salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder and knead well.
- Divide into small portions, shape into balls and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Drain and keep aside.
- Heat the pan with oil, add the chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Add tomato puree, curry powder, chilli powder, salt and fry till dry.
- Add one cup of water and cook for a few minutes. Add the koftas and stir gently. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
INGREDIENTS
- 750 grams Fish without bones, boiled with bay leaves, leaves discarded and mashed
- 175 grams Tomato puree
- 50 grams onion ground to a paste
- 75 grams onion minced
- 2 tablespoon Curry powder
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 2 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 6 Green chillies minced
- 1" piece Ginger minced
- 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Egg beaten
- Chilli powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- 200 ml cooking oil
