SURMAI CHUTNEY

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion lightly. Add the remaining ingredients. Combine together and blend well.
  • Serve with rotis.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams surmai, cut into small pieces, rinsed, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon grated coconut
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri chilli powder
  • 4 - 6 minced Garlic cloves
  • 4 - 5 kokums
  • Salt to taste
