Preparation Method :
- Melt the margarine in a saucepan and stir in the flour.
 - Cook, stirring, for 1 minute and then gradually add the milk.
 - Keep on stirring all the time to prevent lumps.
 - Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring until smooth, and season to taste.

- 3 teaspoons margarine
 - 50 grams plain unbleached white flour
 - 500 ml skimmed milk
 - Salt
 - Freshly ground black pepper
