LEMON SAUCE

Makes :
3 Cups

Preparation Time :
5 minutes

Cooking Time :
10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the sugar, cornflour, lemon juice and water into a small saucepan; mix well.
  • Then add the lemon rind and the salt; place over medium heat and cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat, stir in the butter and serve on crepes and with ice creams.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 ml water
  • ½ teaspoon lemon rind, grated
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cornflour
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ cup butter
  • A pinch of salt
