FRESH APPLE SAUCE

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Peel, core and slice the apples. Put into a small heavy pan with the butter; cover and cook gently until soft.
  • Remove the lid, beat the apples with a wooden spoon until smooth and continue cooking over a very low heat until thickened.
  • Add sugar to taste and beat until melted.
  • Serve hot or cold with roast duck, roast pork or pork sausages. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 700 gram cooking apples 
  • 50 gram butter 
  • Sugar to taste
