COS LETTUCE WITH GARLIC CROUTONS

Serves :
4

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat, add bread and whole garlic cloves and cook, stirring, until golden. Remove and drain, discard garlic.
  • Place the lettuce in a salad bowl and sprinkle with croutons.
  • To Make Dressing: Place vinegar, mustard with salt and pepper in a small bowl. Slowly whisk in the oil.
  • Drizzle the dressing over salad and toss. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 thin slices white bread , Trim and cut into cubes.
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cos lettuce, leaves separated and tear into bite-size pieces,  

Red Wine Vinegar Dressing

  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 50 grams grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Freshly ground black pepper and Salt, to taste
