JELLIED TOMATO RING

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Arrange the tomato slices in the bottom of an 8 inch ring mould
  • Heat the tomato juice and stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle in the gelatine and heat gently, stirring until the gelatine has dissolved.
  • Pour into the ring and place in the refrigerator or a cool place and leave to set for about 3 hours.
  • Turn out carefully and fill the centre with sprigs of watercress.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 tomatoes, skinned and sliced
  • 1 litre tomato juice
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 30 grams powdered gelatine 
  • 2 bunch watercress
