SPINACH AND ONION SALAD

10 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the spinach in a large pan, with just the water clinging to the leaves after washing, about 5 minutes. Dram thoroughly and chop.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and fry until softened.
  • Add the garlic, spinach, and salt and pepper to taste, and heat through.
  • Season the cream to taste with nutmeg and pepper.
  • Pour over the spinach and mix well.
  • Leave to cool, and then transfer to a salad bowl. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 kg spinach, washed and trimmed 
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 large onion, peeled and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 300 ml low-fat cream 
  • Grated nutmeg
