- Place the chick peas in serving bowl with the still-hot, cooked rice. Stir in the finely sliced onion with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Stir in the olive oil, lemon juice and the chopped chervil. Leave to cool completely before serving at room temperature (do not chill).

- 300 gram long-grain rice, freshly cooked
- 200 gram Spanish onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 6 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 6 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons chopped chervil
