Preparation Method :
- Add the cooked rice with the rest of the ingredients except the oil, walnuts and chives in a large bowl.
- Then add the oil gradually while mixing the salad.
- Serve the salad at room temperature garnish with walnuts and chives.
INGREDIENTS
- 220 grams basmati rice, cooked
- 75 grams walnuts, toasted, chopped
- 2 spring onions, finely chopped
- 40 grams raisins
- 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 30 grams golden raisins
- ½ teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
