HERBED RICE SALAD

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice in a saucepan of boiling salted water for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender, and then drain well.
  • While the rice is still hot, season with salt and black pepper to taste and add the oil, vinegar and lemon juice.
  • When the rice has cooled, stir in the chopped herbs and serve.
  • Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams long-grain brown rice, well washed 
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper 
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil 
  • 4 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • Squeeze of lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley 
  • 4 tablespoons snipped chives
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dill 
  • 2 tablespoon chopped tarragon
