SALAMI PASTA SALAD

Preparation Method :
- Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to the boil. Add the pasta and return to the boil. Cook for 10 minutes until just tender.
- Drain the pasta well and transfer to a bowl. Mix together the pesto sauce and olive oil and stir into the hot pasta. Leave to cool, stirring occasionally.
- Add the peppers, onion, olives, tomatoes, salami and mozzarella cheese to the pasta and toss well to mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve garnished with the basil sprigs.

- 500 grams dried penne
- 4 tablespoon pesto sauce
- 5 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 orange pepper, deseeded and diced
- 2 yellow pepper, deseeded and diced
- 2 red onion, finely diced
- 100 grams black olives, stoned
- 150 grams cherry tomatoes, halved
- 200 grams Milano salami, cut into small chunks
- 150 grams mozzarella cheese, drained and torn into small pieces
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh basil sprigs, to garnish
