PASTA SHELL SALAD

The Pasta Shell salad is considered as one of the best recipes which are usually recommended by dieticians to those who want to lose weight easily. This food is made of healthy ingredients, so you will ensure that you can still maintain your health even though you are on a diet stage.

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling salted water for 10 to 15 minutes until just tender. Place the drained pasta in a bowl.
  • Mix the French dressing with the anchovy essence and tomato puree and pour half of this over the pasta. Toss well and leave until cold.
  • Add the white fish, tuna fish and prawns to the pasta. Pour over the remaining dressing and toss lightly. Season to taste with pepper. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes in a cold place.
  • Line individual dishes with lettuce leaves and pile the pasta and fish salad in the centre. Garnish with unpeeled prawns, lemon slices and herbs.
  • Serve immediately. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams pasta shells 
  • Salt
  • 300 ml French dressing with 1 teaspoon marjoram added 
  • 2 tablespoon anchovy essence
  • 2 teaspoon tomato puree
  • 500 grams white fish, cooked and flaked 
  • 500 grams tuna fish, drained and flaked
  • 200 grams peeled prawns
  • Freshly ground black pepper 
  • 2 lettuce, washed and drained 

Garnish

  • Unpeeled prawns
  • Lemon slices
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley and marjoram
