BEEF SALAD

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Rub the steak with the curry paste, leave for 15 minutes.
  • If you like barbecued flavors, cook beef over glowing coals, alternatively grill until medium rare.
  • Slice thinly when cool and firm. Combine the garlic, mint or coriander, pepper, palm sugar, Maggi Seasoning, lime juice, fish sauce and lime zest.
  • Place all ingredients in a bowl and toss lightly to distribute dressing.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams tender, lean grilling steak
  • 2 teaspoons Thai Green Curry Paste  
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint or coriander leaves
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Maggi Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • ½ teaspoon finely grated lime zest
  • 8 small purple shallots, finely sliced or 4 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 small seedless cucumbers, scored and sliced
  • Few sprigs fresh mint
