MACEDOINE OF FRUIT

Preparation Method :

  • Combine sugar, water, vermouth and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Cover and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • Pour the liquid over the prepared fruit and let it marinate for an hour in the refrigerator before serving.
  • Serve in an individual dishes topped with vanilla ice cream.

INGREDIENTS

  • 45 grams / 2 oz / ¼ cup sugar
  • 50 ml / 2 oz / ½ cup water
  • 100 ml / 4 oz / ½ cup sweet or dry vermouth
  • 2 cm piece cinnamon pineapple, peeled and cut in wedges
  • Oranges, peeled and cut into sections
  • Large bunch of black grapes
