HERBY EGG SALAD

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Shell the eggs when cold. Wash and dry the lettuce, and cut it in strips.
  • Lay the shredded lettuce on a flat dish with the eggs on top.
  • Stir the sesame seeds and herbs into the cream; add the lemon juice and a little salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Spoon the sauce over the eggs and serve with hot buttered toast.
  • Serve at once.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 hard-boiled eggs
  • Heart of 2 Cos lettuces 
  • 4 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dill weed
  • 2 tablespoon chopped chervil or parsley
  • 250 ml single cream
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
