YOGHURT RICE

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Boil the rice, drain the water and keep aside.
  • Boil the vegetables till tender, drain and mix with the boiled rice. Keep aside to cool. Mix yoghurt and salt with the rice mixture.
  • Heat the ghee in a kadhai; add mustard seeds and curry leaves; saute for a few seconds.
  • Add the rice mixture; saute for 2 minutes and serve warm.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Rice
  • 200 grams mixed vegetables, finely chopped
  • 250 grams Yoghurt, hung for 2 hours
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 4-5 Curry leaves
