Preparation Method :
- Bring the water to the boil.
 - Meanwhile, heat the ghee in a pressure cooker; add cloves and cinnamon stick. Once they crackle, add the rice. Saute for a few seconds, add boiling water, turmeric powder, and salt.
 - Pressure cook over high heat till 2 whistles. Remove the rice once the pressure subsides.
 - Serve hot accompanied with kadhi.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 300 grams Basmati Rice, washed, soaked for 45 minutes, drained
 - 1½ tablespoon Ghee
 - 5 Cloves
 - 1 Cinnamon, 1½ " stick
 - ½ teaspoon Turmeric (haldi) powder
 - Salt to taste
