SPICED BEANS RICE
This Deep South spiced rice and beans are loaded with delicious fillings that your match to your whole family. Every piece of beans is extremely delicious because of its perfect aroma and spicy rice and beans. With its perfect taste, no one can ever resist it.

Preparation Method :
- Cook the rice in plenty of boiling. Lightly salted water until just tender, about 12 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain well.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan (skillet) and fry the green and red (bell) peppers and onion together gently until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chili and tomatoes, and cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Add the vegetable mixture and red kidney beans to the rice. Stir well to combine thoroughly.
- Stir the chopped herbs and Cajun spice into the rice mixture. Season well with salt and pepper, and serve, garnished with basil leaves.

- 200 grams long-grain rice
- 4 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 1 small green (bell) pepper, cored, deseeded and chopped
- 1 small red (bell) pepper, cored, deseeded and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped finely
- 1 small red or green chili, deseeded and chopped finely
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 150 gram canned red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
- 2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun spice
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh basil leaves to garnish
