RICE FLAVOURED WITH WHOLE SPICES

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash and soak the rice for 2 hours. Drain the water and keep aside.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan; saute cloves, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and black peppercorns for a few seconds.
  • Add the rice and saute for 1 minute. Add water and salt.
  • Cook until the rice is done and the water gets absorbed. Serve hot.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Rice, Basmati
  • 50 grams Ghee
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon, 1" stic
  • 1 Bay leaf  
  • 5 Black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
