RICE COOKED WITH DRY FRUITS

Preparation Method :

  • Clean, wash and soak the rice in water for 2 hours. Drain the water; spread out the rice and leave to dry.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan; add cloves, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, bay leaf, and soft cottage cheese.
  • Cook till the cottage cheese is slightly golden brown in colour.
  • Add the rice, saffron-milk mixture, salt, and water. Cover and cook on medium heat, till the rice is done and the water gets absorbed. Serve hot.

  • 300 grams Rice, Basmati
  • 200 grams Ghee
  • 2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon Saffron  
  • 125 ml Warm milk
  • 4 ½ tablespoon Cashew nuts, broken, fried
  • 45 grams Walnuts, fried
  • 60 grams Almonds, fried
  • 45 grams Groundnuts, fried
  • 60 grams Pistachios, fried
  • 45 grams Raisins, fried
  • 1 tablespoon Rose water
  • 60 grams Onions, fried
