Preparation Method :
- Cook the rice in plenty of boiling salted water for 10 minutes only, then drain and rinse.
- Melt half the butter in a heavy-based pan, add the rice piled into a dome, dot with the rest of the butter, then cover and cook over a medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Turn into serving dish, scraping up the crusty rice from base of pan. Sprinkle with fresh chopped mint to garnish.
- Serve with cold or hot meats or curried eggs.

- 300 gram long-grain rice
