- Heat the oil in a heavy-based frying pan (skillet). Cut the steak into fine slivers and stir-fry for 3 minutes; remove and reserve.
 - Add the bacon and cook until crisp; remove and reserve. Add the onions and spices and fry until the onion is golden, then return the steak and bacon to pan with salt, pineapple and rice.
 - Cook, stirring, over a medium heat for 5 minutes until rice is heated through.
 - Serve immediately with side dishes of salted peanuts and desiccated coconut.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoon Cooking oil
 - 700 gram beef topside
 - 4 rashers fatty bacon, chopped
 - 4 medium onions, sliced into rings
 - 4 teaspoons curry powder
 - ½ teaspoon ground cloves
 - ½ teaspoon mixed spice
 - 2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 ring canned pineapple chopped
 - 300 gram cooked rice
