MOREL MUSHROOMS WITH RICE

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a kadhai; add cinnamon sticks, cloves, green cardamom, black cumin seeds, and onions.
  • Saute till the onions turn light brown. Add the rice and salt. Fry for 3 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and water. When the rice mixture comes to the boil, reduce heat and cook covered till the rice is done and the water is absorbed.
  • Serve hot.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams Rice, cleaned, drained
  • 50 grams Morel mushrooms, soaked in warm water for ½ hour, drained
  • 200 grams Ghee
  • 2 Cinnamon, 1" sticks
  • 6 Cloves
  • 3 Green cardamoms
  • 1 teaspoon Black cumin seeds
  • 60 grams Onions, chopped
  • Salt to taste
