MIXED GRAMS WITH RICE

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a kadhai; add the first three ingredients and gently fry for 5-10 minutes.
  • Add water and cook till all the water is absorbed and the dals are soft. Add salt, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, and rice. Mix well.
  • Add the remaining water and cook over low heat until all the water is absorbed and the rice is done.
  • Serve hot.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams Split green gram
  • 100 grams Split red gram
  • 100 grams Lentil
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 3 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric (haldi) powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 800 grams Rice, cleaned
