GREEN GRAM AND RICE

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the ghee in a pressure pan; add black cardamom and cloves; saute for a while.
  • Add the remaining ingredients; mix well. Close the pan and cook till 2 whistles. Remove the pan from the heat.
  • After 2-3 minutes release the pressure; mix gently and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 grams Rice, soaked for 1 hour, drained 
  • 2 ½ tablespoon Split green gram, soaked for 1 hour, drained
  • 2 tablespoon Ghee 
  • 2 Black cardamoms 
  • 4 Cloves 
  • 1 teaspoon Salt 
  • 3 teaspoon Sugar 
  • 10-12 Raisins
