BASMATI RICE

Preparation Method :

  • Add the butter and salt with 3½ cups of water, bring to the boil. Partially cover with a lid and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until the rice grains are cooked.
  • Turn off the heat and set aside to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Fluff-up the rice with a fork to separate the grains and place in a serving dish.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams basmati rice, washed and soaked for few minutes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt, to taste
