Preparation Method :
- Mix the ground masala paste with jaggery, salt and lemon juice. Apply a thick layer of the mixture on one cut side of the fish and keep the other cut side on top.
- Repeat with the other pieces of fish.
- Coat the sandwiches with bread crumbs, roll in the beaten egg and once again coat with bread crumbs.
- Shallow-fry each sandwich in hot oil till golden and crisp. Serve hot with chapatis.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 Fresh Bombay ducks, cleaned, rinsed, drained, deboned and cut into two flat pieces
- 75 grams Bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons Lemon juice
- 1 Egg beaten with seasoning
- Small piece Jaggery crushed
- Cooking oil to fry
- Salt to taste
Grind to a fine paste
- ¼ Fresh coconut grated
- 3 - 4 cloves Garlic
- Green chillies, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
