POTATO KOFTA

Preparation Method :
- Peel and mash potatoes, add salt, white pepper, green chilies, onion and coriander leaves.
- Divide into 6 equal portions. Make balls. Press gently in between.
- Make a medium consistency paste of gram flour using water. Add a little salt.
- Preheat oil over high heat in a medium frying pan. Dip the potato balls and deep fry till golden brown.
- Add red chilies and bay leaf. Add onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste and fry over high heat for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder and salt and fry till tomatoes are mashed. Add remaining water, cover and bring to a boil.
- Add fried potatoes and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with the remaining coriander leaves.

- 8 large sized boiled potatoes

- 300 grams chopped coriander leaves
- 400 grams gram flour
- 600 ml water
- 200 ml IDHAYAM MANTRA peanut oil
- 4 red chilies
- 2 bay leaves
- 200 grams onion paste
- 2 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 4 chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
