Preparation Method :
- Take a bowl and mix mashed potato with all the ingredients, except sesame seeds and bread crumbs.
- Apply little oil to your hands, take a small portion of the mixture, roll them into balls and flatten them like tikkis. Repeat the procedure for remaining potato mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying.
- Now, roll the tikkis in bread crumbs, coat them completely, dip them in roasted sesame seeds and finally place them in the pan with enough gap between them. Fry the tikkis until they are crispy and golden brown both the sides (On a low to medium heat).
- Serve hot with green chutney and Tomato ketch up.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Large Potatoes, Boiled and Mashed
- 1 Tablespoon Rice Flour
- ½ Tablespoon Corn Flour
- 2 Small Onions, Finely chopped
- 3 Green Chillies, Finely chopped
- ½ Teaspoon Chilli Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Dhaniya Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Dried mango powder
- 1 Teaspoon Roasted Cumin Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Crushed Pepper
- 2 Stems Coriander Leaves, Finley Chopped
- Salt to Taste
- 100 grams Bread crumbs
- 50 grams Roasted White sesame seeds
- 50 ml IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for shallow frying
