Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds.
- When they crackle, add the green chilies, ginger and onions and saute for 2 to 3 minutes or till the onions turn translucent.
- Add all the remaining ingredients, mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and allow the mixture to cool.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a round, flat tikki.
- Roll each tikki in bread crumbs in such a way that the tikkis are evenly coated from both sides.
- Heat the oil in a kadhai on a medium flame and deep-fry the tikkis till they are golden brown in colour from both sides. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.

- 2 teaspoon finely chopped green chillies
- ½ teaspoon finely chopped ginger
- 50 grams chopped onions
- 200 grams boiled and mashed potatoes
- 50 grams chopped fenugreek leaves
- 3 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves dry roasted and crushed
- 2 teaspoon dry mango powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 50 grams chopped coriander (dhania)
- 50 grams bread crumbs for rolling
- IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for deep frying
